The Pantry is a community kitchen and cooking school at 1417 NW 70th Street in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. Our hands-on classes mostly run about three hours, and most finish with a shared meal. Once a month we seat 40 guests for a five-course family-style dinner, and we also host private classes, private dinners and catering.
Founded by Brandi Henderson in 2011, The Pantry is more than just a business. It’s a family of friends, brought together by their mutual love of food and communion. We may have different backgrounds and different interests, but we’re all happy cooking, teaching, gardening, and dreaming up new ways to bring people together at our table. We wouldn’t be the Pantry without our community – our friends and neighbors who help fill our table with food, love, and good conversation. Because the Pantry’s mission overlaps with so many great organizations, we want to share the many ways we connect and give back.
As a small business, we aim to support local makers in the greater Seattle area, and are proud to work with folks who contribute to the betterment of our larger community.
