Kane has spent over a decade as a barista, line cook, and baker, first in Los Angeles and since 2021 in Seattle, with a short break in 2024 working at a farm and restaurant in a small town in southern Italy, where he learned about the agriculture and language of the region. He’s also a passionate host, and has organized dinner parties and pop-up events throughout Seattle with an emphasis on making guests feel seen and welcome — all attributes that serve him well here at the Pantry.
