While many of us are just now learning about how amazing Portuguese food is, Joe Bayley has been going on about it for years. So he’s leading a class exploring his favorite dishes from this colorful seafood-laden paradise! On the menu: bacalao en aceite de ajo (garlic-poached cod); peixinhos, known as "little fish from the garden" (green beans, peppers and squash tempura) with manzanilla olive dip; caldo verde (traditional soup of potato, garlic, and braising greens); and bolo de ananais (pineapple cake).
Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.
All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.
We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
