There’s a dumpling in every culture, and in Korea - that’s mandu! Making mandu is a legendary family affair in Korea, with multiple generations rolling, filling, and shaping dumplings during holidays and family gatherings. These delicious parcels symbolize good fortune and longevity and you can join Jee Hye Kang in this shared communal activity and learn how to make from-scratch! You'll make 만두피 (mandu wrappers) that you’ll turn into 김치만두 kimchi mandu; 새우 부추 만두 (shrimp and chive mandu); and 왕만두 wang mandu (“King Dumplings” filled with mushrooms and vegetables). You’ll enjoy them with 만두국 mandu guk (mandu soup); 초간장 cho ganjang (soy sauce and vinegar dipping sauce); and roasted Korean sweet potatoes for dessert.

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.
We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
