From the Arabian Sea to the peaks of the Himalayas, cuisine in Pakistan is as diverse as its inhabitants and draws influences from across South, Central, and West Asia. Join Pakistani chef and educator Kausar Ahmed for a class filled with traditional techniques, family stories, and lots of bold flavors. On the menu: dum kay pasanday (slow-roasted masala-rubbed beef); mirchi ka salan (chili peppers in peanut and coconut curry); homestyle kulcha (flatbread traditionally cooked in a tandoor); baingan bharta raita (smokey roasted eggplant with yogurt and spices); and aam ka achar (mango pickle).
