Exploring Spain: Galicia

Duration: 3 hoursType: In-PersonPrice: $140

Visitors to Spain get to know Barcelona and Madrid well, but tend to be less familiar with the northwest region of Galicia, known for its seafood and distinctive flavors. In this class, Joe Bayley will teach you how to prepare Galician classics like pulpo a la gallega (braised octopus, seared a la plancha with olive oil mashed potato and pimenton), fabas con almejas (steamed clams with white beans and salsa verde) with grilled rustic bread, Galician empanadas (handmade savory pie filled with bonito, peppers, and onions), and tarta de Santiago (almond cake) for dessert.
