Lauren McCool moved to Seattle from the East Coast for the mountains, the ocean, and the food, and she couldn’t be happier to be here. She’s worked for Hama Hama Oyster Company for 11 years, doing everything from selling oysters at farmers markets to managing restaurant accounts, shucking at events, and teaching oyster classes — and we’re proud to have her on the Pantry’s roster.
Recently Lauren moved to Whidbey Island with her partner and their elderly-but-spry tuxedo cat. She loves camping, reading, paddle boarding, and watching animal videos, and she will say yes to just about any boat ride — and, above all, she loves being around oysters and the people who love them.
