Winter Farmers Market

Duration: 3 hoursType: In-PersonPrice: $140

We certainly don’t need anyone to remind us to hit the farmers market in the height of summer, but in the winter, things change. The choice gets more limited, and let’s face it, it’s hard to feel inspired when it’s cold and rainy out. So join Laura Pyles as she shows you how to make the winter market feel fresh and exciting! You’ll make root vegetable fritters with pear sauce and spiced creme fraiche; cabbage and leek “cacio e pepe”; shaved beets with walnut pesto; and celery root garlic knots. You’ll finish the meal off with roasted rum pineapple semifreddo with brown sugar and sea salt streusel.

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. If you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or gluten-free, you can use the drop-down menu on our events page to view the best classes to fit your needs. If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.
