If you’re craving comfort in these cold and rainy months, join Soy Dara in this class on Vietnamese comfort food, where she’ll teach you how to make some of the classics at home. You’ll make bò kho (a tender, fall-apart braised beef stew with herbs, aromatics, and broth) served classically with scratch-made banh mi (Vietnamese baguette). Also on the menu: rau muong xao toi, (water spinach and minced garlic); and end on a sweet note with che chuoi (ladyfingers layered with banana, coconut milk, and tapioca pearls).

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
