The state of Goa, located on India’s southwestern coast, attracts people from all over the world with its white sands, sapphire seas, and abundant fresh seafood and spices. Join Esha Bhandarkar in class to learn more about the culinary history and culture of this state as you cook a meal that will transport you right to the shacks and hammocks that line the beaches. On the menu: kari meen (spicy marinated red snapper, grilled in banana leaves); jeera mirya kadi (fresh coconut sauce, spiced with black pepper and cumin); beans poriyal (sauteed green beans with coconut, red chilies, and mustard seeds); and taushe hulel (cucumber salad tempered with crispy curry leaves).

Cancellation Policy

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
