The Cheese Course: Northern Europe

Duration: TBDType: In-PersonPrice: $TBD

When it comes to cheese, it can feel like Western Europe has all the fun, but there are gorgeous cheeses made all across Europe, including in its Northern countries. In this class, Courtney Johnson, winner of the US cheesemonger championships and co-owner of Street Cheese, explores lesser-known cheeses from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany, explaining why cheeses from these countries are harder to come by. The class will taste through a selection of 9 Northern European cheeses, each paired with an accompaniment intended to enhance it. We will learn how to taste and talk about cheese, and we will also discuss the geographic and cultural impacts on cheesemaking in the Northern European countries.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
