The Basics of Bubbly

Bubbles are for celebrating, and in this class led by sommelier Janet Beeby, we’ll get ready for that traditional New Year’s cork pop! We’ll taste exciting sparklers, from Champagne to Prosecco to Cava, and learn where they’re from and how they’re made. We’ll arm wrestle about grower Champagne vs. négociant, and we’ll discuss why a flute in hand is worth — well, let’s just say it’s worth a refill.

While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
