With over 3,000 miles of coastline, Thailand boasts a huge array of seafood dishes that range from well-known to hyper-local. Join seafood lover Soy Dara as she blends traditional techniques with updated dishes. We’ll learn how to shallow fry whole fish to make pla sam rod (fried whole fish with a sweet, spicy, and sour sauce) and make a roasted chili paste jam to dress yum talay (spicy seafood salad with prawns, scallops, and squid). Rounding out the meal, we’ll make tom kha pak (coconut milk soup with homemade shrimp stock and vegetables) and then serve it all up with jasmine rice with refreshing homemade Thai iced tea.
