Thai Noodle Classics

There’s a wide world of noodle dishes, and the big flavors of Thai fried rice noodles are some of our favorites. In this class, Soy Dara will teach you how to recreate the classics in your own kitchen. You’ll learn about the different types of noodles in Thai cooking, and how to make rice noodles from scratch. You’ll use your newfound noodle knowledge to make pad see-ew moo (wide rice noodles with pork, Chinese broccoli, and black soy sauce); pad kee mao neua (wide rice noodles with beef, chili, and basil); and the international favorite: pad Thai gai tam goong (thin rice noodles with chicken and prawns, tamarind, and peanuts).

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. If you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or gluten-free, you can use the drop-down menu on our events page to view the best classes to fit your needs. If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
