Summer in Greece

Duration: 3 hoursType: In-PersonPrice: $140

Move beyond the obligatory spanakopita and Greek salad and explore the vibrant culinary traditions of Greece! Greek food is perfect for Seattle summertime barbecues, as most everything you need grows here in abundance. Join Stefan Milne in this class, where he’ll explore some of the history and tradition of Greek cooking while demystify cooking with open flame — burning things is okay! On the menu: grilled rockfish wrapped in grape leaves; grilled pita with melitzanosalata (grilled eggplant spread); taramasalata (bread and fish roe dip); rice with pine nuts, raisins, and herbs; and fresh mizithra (a soft goat cheese) with grilled stone fruit, tomatoes, almonds, herbs, and honey.

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. Cancellation Policy

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
