Peking duck might have started out as a dish for the Imperial Court, but there’s no reason we can’t make it ourselves! In this class Jay Guerrero will walk you through all the steps of sourcing, preparing, carving, and serving classic Peking duck with all of the trimmings. On the menu: roasted Peking duck with bao bing (pancakes), pickled daikon radishes, and sauteed bok choy with sesame and ginger. You’ll complete your feast with homemade hoisin sauce; homemade tian mian jiang (sweet bean sauce), and homemade chili oil.
Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
