The Pantry is excited to announce the return of our kids culinary camps! This 5-day hands-on class for kids will explore America’s history, and the immigrant stories that make up our diverse cuisine. For this round of camp we will be exploring a different US region each day to learn how their food evolved from the people that settled there. We’ll cook chicken teriyaki from the PNW, fish tacos from the Southwest, red beans and rice from the gulf, baked ziti from New England, and beef shawarma from the midwest. We’ll finish each day with a family-style meal filled with dishes we made in class, and the students will make and decorate a cookbook for all their recipes.
Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. We are able to accommodate a vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free diet for our Kids Camps. If your child has additional dietary needs, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the menu can be modified.
While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit.
