Few cuisines conjure up as much devotion — and furious debate — as the food of the Italians who immigrated to the United States. Whether you grew up like Carmela Soprano eating baked ziti at every family gathering, or you learned everything you know about Italian-American food from the spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp, you’ll find something delicious here. In this class Marie Rutherford will show you how to make classic chicken cacciatore; homemade roasted garlic focaccia; chopped salad with salami, red onion, cherry tomato, and provolone; and from-scratch tiramisu.
