Hawaiian Poke

Duration: 3 hoursType: In-PersonPrice: $140

We might not be able to fly to Hawaii as often as we’d like, but there’s no reason we can’t learn to party like we’re already there. Jay Guerrero will be leading this class on how to prepare one of Hawaii's most popular dishes: poke. You’ll learn how to source, select, and butcher the freshest fish as you make spicy salmon poke with fried shallots, avocado, and ikura; sesame albacore poke with seaweed and macadamia nuts; and sweet chile tofu poke with daikon, mizuna, edamame, and marinated cucumbers; and from-scratch surimi salad.

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. If you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or gluten-free, you can use the drop-down menu on our events page to view the best classes to fit your needs. If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.
