Pasta Workshop: Flavored Doughs

The timeless tradition of filled pasta keeps Pasta Grannies around the world busy rolling, stuffing, and twisting to keep up with demand. If you’re often inspired by the perfect plate of pasta, then join Nicco Muratore in this workshop on the craft of handmade pasta. You’ll learn about the different ways to flavor fresh pasta dough, how to mix and knead it, and how to roll and shape it into regionally specific shapes. On the menu: basil tagliatelle with pistachio pesto cream and pecorino; tomato garganelli with sungold marinara, lobster mushrooms, and chili; and lemon and black pepper pici with guanciale, corn, jimmy nardello peppers, and parmesan. You’ll round out the meal with an Italian chopped salad with castelvetrano olives, sungold tomatoes, Calabrese salami, smoked provolone, pickled peppers, and oregano vinaigrette.

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
