Exploring Italy: Sardinia

Duration: 3½ hoursType: In-PersonPrice: $140

Join us for the latest installment in our Exploring Italy series, where we’ll take a tour of the different regions in this food-obsessed country. This spring Marie Rutherford will take us to the region of Sardinia, where she’ll teach us about the local flavors, techniques, and traditions. You’ll make zuppa di pesce alla sarda (Sardinian seafood stew with fregola); culurgiones (pasta filled with potato, mint, pecorino, and browned butter); insalata di finocchi e sedano (fennel and celery salad with lemon, basil, and pecorino); and seadas (fried ravioli with honey and cheese).

Please note: some classes can be adjusted for students with dietary restrictions, but many cannot. If you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or gluten-free, you can use the drop-down menu on our events page to view the best classes to fit your needs. If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.

Cancellation Policy

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
