Parents! Join us for an afternoon of cooking and mess-making with your little one! In this class, taught by Soy Dara, you’ll explore the world of the Taiwanese Boba Shop and learn how to make two types of boba. First up, you’ll shape and roll tapioca boba pearls by hand before cooking and soaking them in brown sugar syrup to be served with a traditional decaffeinated sweetened black milk tea. After that you will explore the world of molecular gastronomy by making oh so POPular (pun intended) strawberry and mango popping boba pearls with a fresh watermelon slush. Last but not least to help balance out all our sweets we will make Taiwanese Popcorn chicken and steamed rice.
Each ticket purchase is for two students: one parent and one child between the ages of 6-12.
