From Pakistan to Japan to Indonesia, Asia boasts an impressive array of curry. In this class, Soy Dara will take you on an Southeast Asian curry tour as she teaches you how to cook up some of her favorites. You’ll learn the basics of making curry pastes, wet vs. dry curries, and all about the different spices found in the many types of Southeast Asian curries. You’ll make naam prik gaeng phet (red curry) with salmon and pineapple; gaeng kiew wan (green curry) with pork belly and avocado; and pad prik khing (dry red curry with lime leaf) with chicken and green beans. You’ll cool down your tongues with jasmine rice and homemade Thai iced tea, and leave ready to create your own contemporary curries at home.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
