While the winter winds whistle, and we eagerly await the return of sunshine, let’s stay warm inside, feasting on gooey raclette and tasting the fresh, vibrant wines of the European Alps. In this class, taught by sommelier Janet Beeby, we will spin excitedly like Julie Andrews while exploring the indigenous grapes and winemaking styles of such cool, mountainous regions as Savoie, Jura, Adige, Valle d’Aosta, Neuchâtel, the Vaud, and the Valais. We’ll discuss local food traditions and treat ourselves to delicious alpine cheese pairings.

While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
