Move over oreos because we have a new favorite sandwich cookie in town! Alfajores are one of the most popular sweet treats in Latin America and they take on many shapes depending on the country, and even specific regions or cities. Pam Arriagada is a firm believer that “anytime is a good time for a dulcecito” - and we couldn’t agree more! In this class you’ll learn how to make alfajores de maicena (soft shortbread sandwiches with dulce de leche, raspberry jam, and coconut); alfajores de hojarasca manjar (thin cookies with dulce de leche, lúcuma, and walnuts) and alfajores marplatenses de maracuyá (chocolate-dipped sponge cake filled with passionfruit and dulce de leche).

If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.
While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
