2-Day Spoon Carving Workshop

Who needs fancy kitchen stores when you can make your own utensils from scratch? In this hands-on workshop, Michael Alexander, local wood carving expert, will take us on a 2-day exploration all about the lost art of spoon-carving. As we learn how to carve our own eating spoons, Michael will go over everything from sourcing and breaking down wood, knife safety, sanding techniques, spoon geometry, and woodgrain. Michael will also share a variety of resources to help us along our carving journey. All tools will be provided and made available for purchase.

Cancellation Policy

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
