Take a trip to any Mexican panadería and you’ll see rows of gorgeous and colorful pan dulce (lightly sweetened breads) lining the bakery case, calling out to be taken home and savored. Join Mayra Sibrian in class as she teaches you how to mix, shape, and bake these delicious treats in your own home. You’ll make a variety of conchas (a traditional pan dulce topped with a sweet cookie crust) flavored with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. You’ll make vanilla bean, chocolate, and strawberry pastry cream and learn how to stuff your beautiful breads for an even more decadent experience. To enjoy with your conchas, you’ll learn how to make from-scratch atole, a traditional Mexican drink sweetened with piloncillo and flavored with cinnamon and pecans.

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.
We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
