You’ve heard of Gouda and Chimay, but there’s so much more to the cheeses of the low countries than what meets the eye! Join American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional and Certified Cheese Sensory Evaluator Courtney Johnson as she introduces you to the world of Dutch and Belgian cheeses. You’ll journey through Northwestern Europe exploring the history, landscape, and variety of cheeses being made in this region. Beyond abbey-style cheeses and red-wax Gouda, we’ll find out what other cheesy treasures are being made in these countries. Together we’ll taste 9 cheeses, each expertly paired with small bites to make them shine!

If a class you’re interested in doesn’t appear in that filtered view, please email us before registering and we’ll see if the class’s menu can be modified.

Cancellation Policy

While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
