As we move into summer in the Pacific Northwest, we welcome long-lit evenings, alfresco dining, and abundant gardens. All can benefit from the flicker of candlelight. In this workshop, Renée Beaudoin will help illuminate your evenings by showing you how to pour and dip candles. We will be making handcrafted candles with both soy and beeswax, while learning how to use clean burning wicks, how to balance essential oils and fresh foraged botanicals, and how to incorporate color. While you wait for your candles to set we will sip on bubbly, and snack on some picnic fare. You will leave with a set of hand-dipped beeswax birthday candles, two soy-based poured candles with your choice blend of blue lavender, tangerine, coyote mint, mission fig, lemon balm, crushed thyme, jasmine, bay, or wild rose; and a beeswax-based poured candle finished with flower petals and other foraged botanicals.
All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.
We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
