Baja California-Style Fish Tacos

Tacos are universally loved, and Baja California-style fish tacos are a west coast favorite! In this class Gino Garcia will teach you how to whip up fresh corn tortillas that'll make you never look at store-bought tortillas the same. You'll fill your tacos with crispy beer-battered shrimp and grilled red snapper marinated with zarandeado sauce, and load them up with salsa blanca (crema-based sauce); pico de gallo; salsa chiltepin (vinegary, fiery hot sauce); and a cabbage and carrot slaw. You’ll finish out the summery taco feast with freshly made raspado de horchata (horchata shaved ice).

All class and event purchases at The Pantry are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, you are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

We understand that plans can change. When possible, we are happy to offer a credit or a transfer to a future event if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist. Because our classes are small and ingredient-driven, this is not guaranteed and depends on demand and timing. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for credit or transfer, as we are typically unable to fill those spots on short notice.
