We are taking it to the fields and getting out of the city! Join us for a flower field trip to Local Roots Farm in Duvall where Renée Beaudoin will show you how to create wild and textural centerpiece arrangements using foraged and native blooms. Each student will pick from the farm garden and forage wildflowers and grasses, weaving both delicate petals along hardy stems, seed-pods, and a variety of interesting textures. You will learn tips and tricks for both picking and working with fresh cuts, and how to create visually stunning centerpieces that will transfer the countryside landscape back to your city home.
Everyone will make and leave with their own composed centerpiece. Optional picnicking under a tree and frolicking in the fields included!
