Oct 12 – The Malaysian Kitchen

With its central location, historical migrations, and colonization by foreign powers, Malaysian cuisine evolved from many influences. In this class Michelle Nguyen explores the flavors and ingredients in some of her favorite classic Malaysian dishes. You’ll make Hainanese chicken and rice and its many dipping sauces; mie goreng, an Indonesian import featuring fried noodles seasoned with egg, sweet soy sauce, and cabbage; and kang kung belachan (stir-fried water spinach with garlic and spicy shrimp paste).

We are excited to welcome you into our space and would like to remind you of our covid policy.
