After a year filled with so much trauma, the devastating floods in Louisiana has us wanting to reach our arms out in support to our fellow restaurant workers still struggling under pandemic challenges. So on November 9th we’ll be gathering to make food and share stories.
In this class Michelle Nguyen will teach you how to make Viet Cajun butter sauce with shellfish and banh co ngu (Vietnamese sweet potato fritters). This class will have a gentle pace, allowing time to share and cook in solidarity. All proceeds from this class will go to Turning Tables to support their work creating equity, diversity, leadership, & career pathways in the New Orleans bartending and hospitality community.
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe.
