very wine tells a story – of the origin of the grapes, of the fermentation process, and of every person who touched the bottle all along the way. Join April Pogue as she shares the story of Cabernet Sauvignon, one of the world’s most well-known grape varieties. In this class you’ll travel through the Loire Valley and Bordeaux, as well as New Zealand and Washington State, to discover what makes all three of these wines worthy of such praise. You’ll taste wines representing New World and Old World Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauternes, while learning how to analyze, describe, and pair each one like the pros.
