Georgia (the country, not the state!) has some of the most unique food in Eastern Europe, with a curious mix of spices. Join Marie Rutherford as she teaches you some of her favorite Georgian dishes, with flavors that feel both familiar and far away. On the menu: khachapuri (yeasted bread filled with farm cheese and butter); chkmeruli (chicken wings with garlic, black pepper and walnuts; abkhazura (spicy meatballs with tkamal (sour plum sauce); and mtvane lobios borani (green beans with yogurt, spices and herbs).

Guests may be required to wear a mask during instruction, depending on the local transmission rate at the time of class (we will have some extra masks on hand if needed).
