Join Jermaine Whitehead, for this cocktails class, where you’ll learn to make old-school cocktail ingredients from scratch for your home bar. He’ll show you all the tools and techniques you need to make craft cocktails, as well as a bit of cocktail history and some ideas for classic homemade syrups, sodas and flavoring agents. In this gin-focused class, you’ll learn about the botanicals, essential oils, spices, and herbs commonly used in the gin distilling process, talk about the flavor profiles of the various styles of gin, and learn how to successfully pair different styles of gin with commonly used mixers. You’ll shake, swirl, and sip as you learn to make a Breakfast of Champions with honey syrup, raspberries, and Greek yogurt; a Pink Panther with aquavit and grapefruit-pink peppercorn cordial; a Field of Dreams with blackberry, ginger beer, and St. Germain; and an Emerald City with green chartreuse and an egg white.
