Join Laura Pyles as she explores a new (to us) pizza: the Grandma Slice! The Grandma pie has its roots in Sicily via Long Island, and in this class you’ll learn how to make this crispy square style, using either a sourdough starter or a pre-ferment. On the menu: classic Grandma pizza with mozzarella, fresh tomato sauce, and basil; white pizza with fontina and roasted garlic; thin-sliced yukon gold potato pizza with homemade arugula pesto and pecorino romano and insalata mista with treviso, fennel, and cherry tomatoes. If you like things on the spicier side, you’ll make hot honey to drizzle on your hot-from-the-oven slices.

Itching to get back into the Pantry kitchen, but still feel hesitant about the end-of-class dinner party? We get it! We are happy to pack up your meal at the end of class for you to enjoy at home. We’ll check in at the start of class to see what you’d prefer!
