Tonight we do the cooking! On the menu: Michelle Nguyen‘s Summer in Vietnam. A little sweet and savory always makes for a good meal. This Vietnamese inspired menu with seasonal ingredients brings the fresh and herbaceous flavors that Vietnamese food is so famous for.
Vietnamese style pork ribs, blackberry glaze, coconut-tumeric scented rice
Shredded cabbage salad, toasted sesame seeds, cilantro, and nuoc cham vinaigrette
Marinated shiitake mushroom summer rolls with spicy peanut sauce
Grilled asparagus with creamy rau ram (Vietnamese coriander) pistou, fried shallots, and limey peanuts
Lime leaf-coconut tapioca pudding with toasted coconut
The meal can be made vegetarian by replacing the pork ribs with Vietnames roasted tempeh. If you would like a vegetarian meal, please select that option when you register.
Each ticket is for 2 generous servings, packaged family-style, ready to be picked up between 4:30-6pm. The meal is fully prepared, but may require reheating when you get home (we’ll provide instructions for how to do that). We are unable to provide meal delivery.
