Tonight we do the cooking! On the menu: Abby Canfield‘s Southern Italian Summer. As summer approaches, my mind wanders to the shores of southern Italy. Of luscious and lazy afternoons in the sun. A bounty of fish and the freshest veggies are all so simply prepared and enjoyed with family and friends in the garden under the shade of fruit trees. I hope these flavors evoke similar feelings when you enjoy them
Olive oil poached tuna with capers, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and spicy aioli
Summer farfalle with pesto alla Trapanese, mint, and basil
Grilled zucchini with chili and herb ricotta, golden raisins, and toasted pistachios
Orange and rosemary marinated olives
Fig focaccia with whipped gorgonzola and roasted garlic spread
Polenta shortcakes with roasted cherries, almonds, and amaretto whipped cream
The meal can be made vegetarian by replacing the tuna with grilled eggplant and cauliflower. If you would like a vegetarian meal, please select that option when you register.
Each ticket is for 2 generous servings, packaged family-style, ready to be picked up between 4:30-6pm. The meal is fully prepared, but may require reheating when you get home (we’ll provide instructions for how to do that). We are unable to provide meal delivery.
