Vineyard location is essential when making wine, and in this class taught by sommelier Janet Beeby, we’ll explore some of the world’s great island wines. We will look at winemaking regions that are pushing the limits and taking grape growing to the next level. From a stunning caldera to the slopes of an active volcano, we will learn about these amazing locations and taste through wines from Santorini, Sicily, and the Canary Islands. We will talk about regional food specialties, and we will make papas arrugadas with mojo and a lemony artichoke and fava bean spread. This class is for guests that are 21 and over.
