Cannoli’s crisp and delicious shells are the mainstay of any great Italian bakery, filled with anything you can dream up. In this class Laura Pyles will teach you how to fry your own to perfection. You’ll make ricotta from scratch and hone your chocolate-dipping skills while whipping up piles of classic chocolate dipped cannoli with ricotta cream, cherries, and toasted pistachios. You’ll also mix up a batch of espresso mascarpone cream for a modern twist on the classic.
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. There are two options for gathering ingredients for this class! You can shop for your own ingredients or we are happy to pre-measure ingredients and assemble them into a 4-serving kit (this kit will also include cannoli molds!). And if you like to sip wine while you cook, consider adding a lovingly paired bottle with your kit!
