April 23 – Exploring India: Keema Kofta Curry

Few things are as warm and comforting as dumplings, and here at the Pantry we’re always willing to travel for a new dumpling. While our travelling might be online these days, that won’t stop us from exploring! In this class Shama Joshi will teach you how to make her perfectly fried lamb keema kofta (fried lamb and potato dumplings) drenched in spiced tomato sauce. You’ll also be making jeera rice (ghee drizzled basmati rice with cumin) as the perfect bed for your new favorite dumplings.

This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. There are two options for gathering ingredients for this class! You can shop for your own ingredients or we are happy to pre-measure ingredients and assemble them into a 4-serving kit. And if you like to sip wine while you cook, consider adding a lovingly paired bottle with your kit!
