April 15 – Pantry Happy Hour: Weekday Wines

In this sequel to Janet Beeby’s popular Everyday Wines class, you’ll take a deep dive into tasty wines that are perfect for everyday sips. We’ll look at all fresh grapes and geographical regions, and learn why some wines cost more. Janet will share strategies for selecting weekday wines, and how the grocery store might not be the best place to find them. We’ll taste three mouthwatering budget-friendly wines, and whip up some spundekäs (German spiced cheese spread) and Portuguese-style ham and fig petiscos. This class is for guests that are 21 and over.

This is a live, hands-on class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome groups on the same screen. To learn more about how class will go visit our FAQ page.

One week before class we will send out a detailed shopping list, and  a few days before class we will email you a detailed recipe packet and Zoom link. All classes are listed in Pacific Time.
