On the Menu:
Tomato-rubbed bread with olive oil and sea salt
Paella with chicken, smoked sausage, and spring vegetables
Alioli

 

Shopping List (for 4 servings):
Produce: 
yellow onions
poblano peppers
garlic
fresh or frozen green beans
parsley
ripe tomatoes
lemons

Dry Goods/Pantry: 
high heat oil, such as safflower
olive oil
short grain rice, like sushi rice
chicken stock
white wine
tomatoes in their juice, whole or diced are fine
marinated artichoke hearts (optional)
baguette
flakey salt

Proteins: 
boneless, skinless chicken thighs
smoked sausage, like linguica
chorizo
egg

Spices: 
saffron or safflower threads
smoked paprika

Equipment List: 
One 12 inch paella pan or similarly-sized skillet. A cast iron skillet will work, a stainless steel skillet with a low lip will work also!
