Potato Gnocchi – Shopping & Equipment List
We are so excited to host you in our upcoming class! One week before class we will email everyone the complete shopping list and then a few days before class we will email the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. Until then, below is a list of ingredients and equipment that you’ll need.
On the menu:

Shopping List:
Produce:
russet potatoes
broccolini
onion
garlic
fresh basil leaves
fresh parsley leaves
Dairy:
half and half
grated parmesan cheese
Dry Goods / Pantry:
cake flour (or all-purpose flour and – if you go this route, please don’t mix it ahead of time! we will mix in class!)
olive oil
calabrian chilis (optional)
vodka
canned whole peeled tomatoes
balsamic vinegar
Proteins:
eggs
Spices:
kosher salt
freshly ground pepper
pinch red pepper flakes
Equipment List:
Large pot for blanching the broccolini and boiling the gnocchi
2 large skillets (not non-stick if possible) of one large skillet you can wash in between recipes
Potato ricer, food mill, or a box grater
Slotted spoon or spider
2 cookie sheets lined with parchment paper
Bench knife, pastry cutter, or metal spatula
Tongs
Wooden spoon
Sifter or fine mesh strainer for sifting flour
2 forks
1 spoon
Gnocchi board (optional)
Cutting board
Chef knife
2-3 kitchen towels
Immersion blender, regular blender, or food processor
