We are so excited to host you in our upcoming class! One week before class we will email everyone the complete shopping list and then a few days before class we will email the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. Until then, below is a list of ingredients and equipment that you’ll need.

On the menu:
Halloumi saganaki with fresh lemon
Shrimp saganaki with herby tomato ouzo sauce, feta, and crusty bread

Shopping List:

Produce:
lemon
red onion
garlic
flat leaf parsley
fresh dill or mint
oregano

Dairy:
halloumi cheese
Greek feta

Dry Goods / Pantry:
all-purpose flour
olive oil
canned whole peeled tomatoes
ouzo (dry white wine can be used as a substitute if needed, but the flavor of the ouzo adds to the dish)
brandy
baguette or crusty bread for dipping in all the things

Protein:
shrimp

Spices:
chili flakes
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Equipment List:
2 cast iron or heavy bottomed frying pans, or 1 that you can wash between uses
Fish spatula or other utensil for flipping cheese
2 shallow bowls for cheese dusting station
Bowl for shrimp
Strainer for canned tomatoes and bowl to catch juices
Chef’s knife
Small paring knife
Cutting board
Metal serving platter or other serving platter that can be preheated
Serving utensils
