We are so excited to host you in our upcoming class! One week before class we will email everyone the complete shopping list and then a few days before class we will email the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. Until then, below is a list of ingredients and equipment that you’ll need.

On the menu:
Cuban-style Bread
Mojo Roasted Pork
Garlic Aioli
Pickled Jalapenos
Caramelized Onions

Shopping List:

orange juice

Swiss cheese

Dry Goods / Pantry:
all-purpose flour
instant yeast
brown sugar
fish sauce
high heat oil (like safflower, canola, vegetable, etc)
Dijon mustard
white vinegar
unseasoned rice wine vinegar, or white vinegar, or white wine vinegar
thin sliced banana peppers (pepperoncinis)
Kosher salt

pork tenderloin
black forest ham

Mexican oregano
bay leaf
Freshly ground black pepper

Equipment List:

Ziploc bag for marinating your pork before class
Food processor for making aioli (or an immersion blender, or a bowl and a whisk)
Roasting pan, Dutch oven, or pie plate for roasting your pork
Lid for the roasting pan or a piece of foil
1 cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet
2-3 kitchen towels
Wooden spoon
A couple knives for spreading aioli and mustard
Bench knife or regular knife
Chef’s knife
Cutting Board
Small pot for pickling liquid
Heat-safe bowl for pickled jalapenos
Bowl for mixing and rising dough
Kitchen aid for making the bread dough (or some elbow grease for mixing by hand)
Mandoline for slicing jalapenos (optional)
Large skillet for caramelizing onions
Sandwich press or an additional large skillet (you can wash the onion skillet and use it again)
A heavy pot, brick wrapped in foil or a big can for pressing your sandwiches
Spray bottle with water to spritz your rolls in the oven or 2 cups of ice
