We are so excited to host you in our upcoming class! One week before class we will email everyone the complete shopping list and then a few days before class we will email the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. Until then, below is a list of ingredients and equipment that you’ll need.

On the menu:
Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
Vanilla Cream Filling
Peppermint Cream Filling
Peanut Butter Cream Filling

Shopping List:
unsalted butter

Dry Goods / Pantry:
all-purpose flour
cocoa powder (unsweetened Dutch process cocoa works best for these because it is SO DARK)
granulated sugar
powdered sugar
vegetable shortening
unsalted creamy peanut butter (don’t stress about the kind! we can always make adjustments – just make sure it’s creamy)
bakings soda
baking powder
vanilla extract
peppermint extract
candy cane (for garnish)
honey roasted peanuts (for garnish)

kosher salt
ground cinnamon

Equipment List:
Stand mixer (it will be okay if you don’t have one! just be ready for some muscle-time)
Fine-mesh strainer
Parchment paper
3 pastry bags (or 3 ziplock bags + scissors)
Measuring cups and spoons
A few bowls
Mortar & pestle (not vital! this is just to crush some of the toppings – can also be done in a ziploc bag with a rolling pin)
Baking tray (if you have more than one, great!)
Cooling rack
If making these as gifts, it might be nice to have some cookie bags & yarn handy to package them!
