Join Michelle Nguyen as we explore the flavors of Malaysia! We’ll show you what you need on your pantry shelves, and learn about how the foods of this region are all related to each other. You’ll make nasi goreng (Malaysian fried rice with fried egg); kerabu (coconut and chili salad with bean sprouts, red onions, and cucumber); and sambal ikan bilis (spicy peanut snack with crispy anchovies, shallots, lemongrass, and lime leaf).
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
