Join Omid Roustaei as he prepares to celebrate Shab-e Yalda! In Persian culture, the longest and darkest night of the year is a time to gather, eat, and celebrate. On the menu: morgh shekam por (stuffed saffron chicken with dried fruit and nuts), salad anar-o khiar (pomegranate, mint and cucumber salad), and sholeh zard (saffron, rosewater rice pudding).
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
